Thanks to a special treatment with Nano Sylicates (similar to those found in Toray's Nannoalloy carbon fibers), the fluorocarbon surface provides a much better grip on the knot and a significant increase in strength. Nano Sylicates also offer a significant gain in abrasion resistance, which in many situations means you can go down one or two diameters and improve discretion where necessary.
